At Social Butterflies, we are proud to offer a wide variety of programs for ages 2 - 18 years of age. Behaviour Intervention

Our Caterpillar program is designed and overseen by our Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, who is included on the RASP registry. This centre-based program utilizes the Early Start Denver Model assessment and curriculum, which is a play-based model. Through play, our behaviour interventionists work directly with your child to work on their individualized set of goals as created by the consultant in collaboration with the family. We are highly adaptive and always take a child centered approach to ensure the highest quality of support for each child we work with.

Our Butterfly Program offers behaviour interventions for ages 6- 18 years, with services tailored to the individual needs of each client. Utilizing varying assesement tools, our behaviour consultant in collaboration with each family will develop goals  for your child. These domains can range from things like perspective taking, social skills, emotional regulation, problem solving, flexible thinking, life skills, academics and much more. Paired with the Consultant or Behaviour Interventionist, children/ youth attend weekly sessions to work through these programs goals.

Intensive Feeding Support

Our Wings of Nourishment Program, is for families requiring intensive feeding support. This program runs seperatley from our intervention services and operates with its own waitlist, intake and progressional stages. Families and children will work directly with our BCBA Nicole, who carries additional extensive training and experience related to feeding. Feeding sessions occur weekly within our centre, along with parent support meetings. Following a gradual transition through the stages, the goal is to expand your child's pallet of safe foods.

Academic Support

Our Academic Support Program is open to those enrolled in an online learning school. We will support the academic learning goals as outlined in their learning plan and/or IEP. Your child is invited to receive one-on-one or group instruction if learning is challenging in a regular classroom setting. Programs can be tailored to each individual, working on assigned projects, lessons and goals for their grade level. We are also able to provide needs-analysis: social skills, math tutoring, anger management, tools to prevent and cope with over-stimulation, anxieties, and more.

 Camps

Our camps are tailored to appeal to a variety of interests, for children ages 6-12 years. Our staff create a supported enviroment fostering an excellent way for your child to learn and practice social and life skills. All of our camps incorporate lessons that may include flexible thinking, problem-solving, how to make and keep friends, conversation skills, coping tools for anxiety and temper flares, and much more, all while ensuring the fun is not lost. Camps are typically offered over school breaks and are available as a weekly or daily option.
